Teri Hatcher
Palo Alto, CA
December 8, 1964About
Born and raised in California, Teri Hatcher studied acting at the American Conservatory Theater and, as a favor for her friend, attended a casting call for moral support. Little did she know that the acting bug would bite, as she ended up stealing the part as a mermaid on the 1977 TV series The Love Boat.
After numerous guest appearances on TV shows, Hatcher – who previously pursued a career in mathematics and engineering – starred in another series, MacGyver, as Penny Parker and then as Lois in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. But today, Hatcher is best known for her role on the suburban TV drama Desperate Housewives, where she is featured as single mom Susan Meyer.
Twice divorced with one child, Hatcher has been linked to stars David Spade, George Clooney, Ryan Seacrest and Adam Duritz.
