The Office's Rainn Wilson on son's name

Actor Rainn Wilson, who will soon star in The Last Mimzy, and his wife, writer Holiday Reinhorn, know from personal experience what its like to grow up with an "unusual" name. It is with this in mind that couple chose the name of their 2-year-old son, Walter.

Actor Rainn Wilson, who will soon star in The Last Mimzy, and his wife, writer Holiday Reinhorn, know from personal experience what it’s like to grow up with an "unusual" name. It is with this in mind that couple chose the name of their 2-year-old son, Walter.

“It’s a nice, old-fashioned name, and it sounds good,” Rainn told Parade. "Walter Wilson—very presidential.”

The family lives in the suburbs of Agoura Hills, north of L.A., where Rainn films his hit show, NBC’s The Office (alongside celebrity baby Rashida Jones, daughter of music mogul Qunicy Jones). Rainn says the family has two pit bulls and that “Young Walter is in “pre-pre-school.”
